Your item is missing a .txt file that describes the setlist.

You need to add a txt file that has the setlist in it. Then rerun it.

Double checking I see there is a rich text file (.rtf) on the page.

the system needs it to be .txt. RTF (.rtf) is no good for the scanner checks. just put it up as a .txt and it will be good for a re-run.

Okay I guess this is gonna get deleted. This was uploaded a couple years ago and the RTF was okay then. Now I cannot even download the RTF to convert to TXT to reupload. I don't have the files here. I merely intended to go in to this old upload and allow MP3's. Now it is going to get deleted apparently. Oh well.

You can still get to the rtf file...just check the fileset out like the email instructions say. Then download the RTF, convert it to txt, and re-upload. That should kick things off again and make it available.

Don't get frustrated, it is just the way the system is. If you want your shows to have mp3s they must pass the checks the system currently has in place. It might be a slight inconveinience but it takes very little time.

I have just done all the above for you, so your show should have mp3's very soon

http://www.archive.org/catalog.php?history=1&identifier=duo2005-04-21.flac16

http://www.archive.org/details/duo2005-04-21.flac16

in the future if you want to make mp3's of an old show, do the following:

1. make sure the show as a .txt file setlist in there. if not, 'checkout' the show, go to the FTP server it tells you to (I see you did checkout but something happened and it didn't work for you? you never checked it back in?)

2. click 'edit item'
3. click 'item manager'
4. click 'derive'

and the system will take the existing file set and run mp3 / stream creation on the files if the band permissions allow for it. if there is a flac / shn failure or it is missing a txt, the task 'derive.php' line item will fail and it will turn red in the history. that means there is a problem. contact the admins on the board here for more help. otherwise, I think it is a great idea to go back and add mp3's to all your old recordings that were put up here before mp3's were set up.

Good Luck!

Hmm, even though I've fixed it, the system is still seeing the 'old' fileset there. I think this is related to the current slowness of the system reindexing. I'm going to give it a few hours and then try running it again.

you might get some failure e-mails but disregard them. the show is correct at this point, just hold tight. thanks.

the problem was that your md5 ALSO had listed the .rtf AND the .ffp.

in the future, please only include in the md5 the actual audio files.

I have edited / put up the new md5 without those items. checked in the show and just-re-ran the failed tasks.

(Crossing fingers) hopefully that is it and the mp3's show up!

Each of these files had a MD5 checksum that failed:
